If you follow me on my other social media accounts, you'll know that I go to Snooze quite often. Just recently, they changed and updated their fall menu to a winter menu, which has some new items! I haven't tried EVERYTHING yet but I have tried the sticky toffee pudding french toast and their coffee and doughnuts pancakes.
The sticky toffee pudding french toast is on the left and the coffee and doughnuts pancake is in the middle. The french toast was yummy but I won't be ordering it again because it was way too sweet for me :-( The coffee and doughnuts pancake however, was splendid! It had granny smith apples cooked in the batter, paired with streusel and espresso cream. I believe this was on the menu a while back, but they had taken it off and was brought back! I really hope they keep this as a permanent menu item.
One of my favorite things about Snooze is how they always have a different pancake of the day! Above on the right was a buttermilk pancake with dates in the batter, topped with pepitas (pumpkin seeds), mascarpone cream, and another ingredient which I can't seem to remember, whoops!
Gus and I went to Snooze this morning, so today's pancake of the day was a savory one and believe me when I say that it was AMAZING. It was a buttermilk pancake with hash browns, topped with scallions, green pepper, red onions, tomatoes, and sour cream! Everything went together perfectly and I'll definitely be requesting this again in future visits, since they'll always have these ingredients! (Again, I ordered the coffee and doughnuts pancake; 10/10 recommend!!)

Despite it from being delicious, I loved it because it was reminiscent of these potato "pancakes" that my grandmother makes with left over mashed potatoes. She'll cut up onion, mix it with mashed potatoes, add some spices, and then cook them on a griddle into pancakes! I've been craving them lately, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear that it was pretty much Snooze's pancake of the day :'+)
A few weeks ago, there was this pancake of the day that consisted of a chocolate chip buttermilk pancake with espresso cream, oreo chunks, and some other cream (I forgot oops) but it was delightful as well!
Do any of you have a go-to breakfast place? If you do, feel free to leave a comment down below! I'm always looking to try new places! Thank you for reading, and come again (〃^▽^〃)
