Something new: Makeup!

Recently, I've had this new-found interest in makeup and want to get more into it so I bought a few things to start with! I don't usually wear makeup (besides filling in my brows most of the time) and I only know how to put on mascara and lippie things (I suppose), but I want to try new things and it seems like fun!! I hope to learn how to contour and do fancy eye things, mostly for cosplay tbh but who knows maybe I'll like it a lot and wear it more often?!!

All of the products here are vegan, and/or cruelty free.

I have heard wonderful things about Sugarpill and their products looks marvelous so I bought this pearl pressed shadow for starters to possibly use as a highlighter. Sugarpill is 100% cruelty-free and the majority of their products are vegan so I recommend checking them out!

I liked this Lorac highlighter/bronzer duo compact because it'll be useful if I'm traveling and want to bring it with me! Lorac says on their site that they don't test on animals but I'm not sure if they are vegan. They don't address it so I would assume that they aren't.

This Real Techniques brush was recommended to me for contouring so I'm uber excited to try it out! This company uses synthetic Taklon bristles which means their brushes are 100% cruelty-free.

Have any of you used these products? If so, what do you think of them? Also do you have any makeup products you recommend for beginners? Feel free to leave a comment down below, and thank you for reading!
