Anime Expo: Day 3-4

Saturday, I did a PE version of Haruhi Suzumiya! So I wore a ringer shirt and high waisted bloomers. Gus and I also spent the whole con day with our friends Amanda and Ryan!

 We stopped by the Gudetama booth to take pictures and imitated this lazy lil egg! If you guys didn't already know, I love Gudetama ⁽⁽()⁾⁾

In the Entertainment Hall, they also have cosplay sets where you can take pictures! They have a classroom set, a bedroom set, a forest set, this ball pit set, and many more. I didn't take pictures in any of them last year when I was at AX so I was uber excited to this year ♡ Ryan and Gus took these pictures of Amanda and I in the ball pit set!

The Rilakkuma booth was adorable but I didn't buy anything from there. Here was a room display they had on the other side of the storefront (˘˘)

NO NEED FOR AN EXPLANATION

After, we looked at the 500 Nenderoid display by Good Smile Company and there were so many I wanted! Here were some of my favorites along with some other figures I saw around the exhibit hall:

I wish I could buy all of these but 1) no place to put them and 2) no money *sobs*

Amanda and I + more friends!!

Later in the evening, Gus and I went to the Masquarade. It's basically a cosplay contest but I was really excited because the Buzzfeed Try Guys were there!

There was also a special performance where IA, the newest vocaloid, and members of the Wagakki band performed!

On Sunday, I didn't cosplay but I DID spend the entire day looking at cosplays and buying from Artist Alley! Here are some of my favorite cosplays I saw over the weekend ;u;

You can see Ryan and I on the right lol

I told this Queen Serenity that she was so gorgeous and she told me I was pretty and I wanted to cry I LOVE HER

We also stopped by the Bushiroad booth to see all the Love Live! stuff heh

Later in the evening, Gus and I drove to Santa Monica and we went to this onigiri place called Sunny Blue. Each onigiri were around $3 and we each got a couple, which were absolutely delicious! When I make onigiri at home I'm generally too lazy to put *fancier* fillings in other than tofu but I'll try getting more creative with it now!

Gus got tuna mayo (on the right) and I got hijiki (the speckled one on the bottom left) and shiso ume (pickled plum) which were both satisfying!

After, we went to Three Twins Ice Cream right next door and their ice cream was honestly some of the best I've ever had. All of their ice cream is organic and they even offered vegan milkshakes.

I got a sundae that had chocolate syrup, caramel, peanuts, chocolate chips, and whipped cream on top of a scoop of mint chocolate and cookies and cream ice cream and I devoured it!! I was so full after but I wish I could re-eat that sundae over and over again holy moly. I'll definitely have to come here again whenever I'm in the area!

I also went to San Diego Comic Con so I'll be writing about that shortly as well as what I picked up at both cons! Thank you for reading!
