Mini NYX Review + Dupe?!!

So if any of you are frequent Ulta shoppers, you'd know that they always have BOGO 50% off sales on NYX products, as well as their sitewide $3.50 off $10 monthly coupon code. With that being said, I took advantage of these sales and bought NYX's contour/highlighter stick, their new micro brow pencil (which was sadly excluded from NYX's sale), and their soft matte lip cream! 

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to using this contour stick yet because I think I need a beauty blender or some other type of cosmetic blending sponge, but it looks simple enough to use so I am excited! I got this dual-ended product in the lightest shade. I have dry skin so I hope this works well since it looks pretty creamy.

This brow pencil was the product I was the most excited for, as I haven't filled in my brows since spring break (which was awhile ago) and I've been looking for a new brow product to use! I normally use Anastasia Beverly Hills' brow wiz in medium brown (formerly known as medium ash) so for the micro brow pencil, I picked the shade ash brown. It was a PERFECT match! I looked at swatches online to make sure I would get the right color since my local Ulta unfortunately ran out of these pencils and I am astounded by the quality of this brow pencil! I works exactly like my old ABH brow wiz except it is half the price! My only complaint is that the spooly on the NYX pencil is pretty sparse, so I've just been using my brow wiz spooly when I do my brows.

I got this matte lip cream in the color "cannes" and it is gorgeous! The application is simple and I liked how the handle was matte as well. It goes on a little thick and creamy but it dries to matte which I think is perfect! It is a little drying but that's to be expected of as it is a matte product. 

Above are some swatches of the lip cream next to NYX's matte lipstick in perfect red with and w/out flash. I love how pigmented this lip cream is (like all NYX products) and how natural it looks on me! I've been wanting a color like MUFE's N9 ever since I got it last year as part of Sephora's birthday gift and I love this matte lip product even more!!
