Yesterday evening, I went out with some friends to this cafe called T-Pop Desserts & More which serves mainly desserts, drinks, and ramen! This place is a little far from me, all the way in Mira Mesa, but I came here because a groupon I bought awhile ago was expiring soon. It's located in the corner of a plaza right next to Seafood City but it was easy to find.
I was more excited for the dessert than the actual meal because I haven't tried honey (brick) toast before! Gustavo and I shared yet we were still unable to finish it! I really liked how big their portions are; if you're thinking of going here I definitely recommend sharing! We ordered their Tokyo shibuya toast which consisted of red bean, kit-kats, pocky, mochi, green tea ice cream, whipped cream, condensed milk, and custard on the side. I also got an iced matcha latte which I really enjoyed.
I ordered tofu ramen with miso broth with vegetarian pot stickers and they were just okay. I was a bit disappointed in the ramen because the tofu was bland but Gus ate the soft-boiled egg and he said it was good.
All-in-all, I want to come back here again but next time I'll just come for the dessert! I really want to try their ice cream hot pot along with their Paris and matcha toast flavors! If you live in the San Diego area, I recommend coming here earlier in the day or during the week since it was super busy and crowded when we went.
