Last Wednesday, Gus and I celebrated my graduation by coming to Hillcrest's Snooze for brunch! I've been told that they have long wait times but since we went during the week, we waited a mere 20 minutes.
Upon entering this breakfast/brunch eatery, the atmosphere is vibrant and trendy. Everyone who works there is super friendly and whoever chose the music that was playing did a job well done!
I ordered their hot chocolate and OMG! french toast with hash browns on the side and I wholly recommend them! I had a slice left of my french toast because I was STUFFED but holy moly it was delicious. Gus got their house coffee with and chilaquiles benedict and it looked really good! Since I'm vegetarian, it's sometimes disappointing not being able to order certain dishes because servers says the cooks can't take out/replace the meat or that the meat is the central part of the dish but I really loved that Snooze also had tofu and soyrizo to substitute meat with so I was able to order pretty much anything on the menu!
I'll make sure to come here again soon and next time I want to order something with soyrizo!
Thank you for reading and come again!
