This morning, I went to a beauty supply store by me as well as Sephora and picked up a few things! I went into the beauty supply store looking for nice quality hair shears which to my surprise, I couldn't find, so I left with a few NYX products instead heh
I am so happy to have picked up the matte lip cream in Copenhagen (SMLC 20); it's always sold out wherever I look and I've wanted it for what feels like eternity. I've tried one of NYX's other matte lip creams which you can read me talk about here! It smells really sweet like cake batter or cupcakes, but I wouldn't eat it of course! I also picked up this high voltage lipstick in Tiara (HVLS 19) and a plain black eyeliner.
Next I went to Sephora since I had a $15 gift card. I was looking for a good concealer but along with that, I got these two NARS lip pencils as a birthday gift! The red one has a velvet matte finish and is in the shade Cruella while the pink one has a satin finish and is in the shade Rikugien. I love both colors and I'm excited to wear them out!
The two NYX lip products are swatched on the top row while the two NARS pencils are on the bottom. (I accidentally smudged Copenhagen on my arm, whoops!)
The concealer that was recommended to me was this Tarte Maraca Creaseless Concealer in the shade Medium Sand. When the Sephora employee tried it out on me, I think it looked okay. I have dry skin so I hope this works!
What are some of your guys' favorite (cruelty-free) makeup products? I'm on the lookout for new products to try to widen my scope on makeup! Thanks for reading, and come again!

ReplyDeleteI've been using it this past week and I love it! But I've never used any other concealer before so I'm not sure how good/bad it is compared to other brands. It works well for me though and a little goes a long way!
